Last night, I was invited to watch a short documentary film on Helvetica. The film was released in 2007 to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the typeface's introduction in 1957. Now in it's 52nd anniversary, a group of Cebuano graphic designers hosted the film showing with 30 local graphic artists gathered to celebrate and appreciate the universal Swiss-born typeface. The group aims to regularly assemble local artists to share and exchange ideas and knowledge in any design field.
